Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and final readings of X-ray film against a viewing screen to identify flaws in castings such as cracks, porosity, or core shifts.
  • Ensure all developed film meets specified requirements including angles and part numbers.
  • Utilize a densitometer to verify that film density meets specifications.
  • Monitor the development process to ensure film is produced correctly.
  • Prepare customer reports detailing X-ray readings and interpretations.
  • Obtain additional certifications and credentials as needed for career advancement.
  • Participate in special projects as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant NDT experience preferred.
  • Must be able to achieve Level II certification.

Candidates offered employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and background study before starting work.
