What You Will Be Doing:

  • Oversee a diverse array of technology projects and lead a talented team of developers skilled in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems, crafting solutions that align with the company's regulatory requirements.

  • Stay ahead of the technology curve by engaging with tech trends, learning new technologies, participating in tech communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and contributing to coding tasks when required.

  • Work closely with digital product managers to design and implement robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially.

  • Employ programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, and Go, along with Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform, in conjunction with various AWS tools.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • At least 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering (Internship experience not included).

  • At least 3 years of experience in Cloud Native technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

  • At least 4 years of experience in Unix or Linux systems administration.

  • At least 2 years of experience managing people.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering.

  • 4+ years of experience with coding and scripting languages (Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl, or Ruby).

  • 4+ years of experience with technologies like Apache Mesos, Marathon, or Apache Spark.

  • 4+ years with build and deployment tools (Jenkins, Docker).

  • 2+ years of experience with distributed database systems (Cassandra, ElasticSearch).

  • 2+ years of experience deploying clustered web services.

  • 2+ years working within Agile Development processes.

The position is based in specific locations including Chicago, IL; McLean, VA; Riverwoods, IL. Salaries will vary across these locations. Candidates hired for this role can expect salaries in the following ranges: Chicago, IL: $175,800 - $200,700; McLean, VA: $193,400 - $220,700; Riverwoods, IL: $175,800 - $200,700.
