Assistant Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Mechanical Project Manager (APM) to join our growing team in St. Petersburg, FL. The APM will support senior project leaders in managing large-scale multifamily and commercial HVAC/mechanical projects ranging from $15M to $70M. This is a strong entry point for ambitious candidates looking to grow into full PM roles.
Responsibilities
- Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and procurement for mechanical projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, project engineers, and field leadership
- Support the preparation of RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Monitor progress and ensure alignment with project milestones
- Provide technical and logistical support for job sites and client relations
- 2-4 years of mechanical/HVAC project management experience
- Exposure to large multifamily, student housing, or commercial projects
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and mechanical rooms
- Proficiency with MS Office; exposure to Procore, Oracle, or Accubid a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related (preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
