Certifications:
- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certified
- ACLS
- AHF Fellowship with LVAD experience
- DEA

Must-Have:
- Provider must be local, only mileage reimbursed
- Clean background required

Description:
We are seeking a board-certified non-invasive cardiologist to join our team.
The practice setting includes inpatient, call, outpatient, and clinic duties.
The reason for coverage is to provide support during recruitment of a second physician.
Coverage is needed as soon as possible until the new physician is onboarded.
The call ratio is 1:6.
On average, there are 10 clinic patients per day.
The average number of inpatient admissions per physician per day is 12-15.
There is currently 1 cardiologist in the group.
Other cardiologists will be present during coverage.
The locum physician will be required to supervise 4 advanced practice providers.
The patient age demographic is adult and geriatric.
The documentation system used is EPIC.
The procedures required include electrocardiograms (EKGs).
The estimated credentialing timeframe is 120 days.
Night and weekend call will be on a rotating basis.
This position does not require the provider to perform any invasive procedures.
