The ICDS Supervisor (Nights) is accountable for the safe and efficient execution of all physical operations and inventory control programs during static hours. This role manages the Cycle Counter & Material Handling team, ensuring 100% compliance with new SOPs and delivering high levels of labor productivity and data integrity to the ICDS leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety & Compliance: Accountable for all forklift and material handling safety compliance. Enforces all SOPs during the putaway and cycle count processes.
  • Labor Management & Productivity: Directly manages the cycle counting and material handling, and other necessary activity related to inventory control accuracy. Supports meeting daily targets for putaway Throughput and Receiving Productivity.
  • Cycle Count Execution: Manages the entire counting process, receives the location list from the Day Analyst, assigns tasks, and ensures the static inventory count is completed and documented before the start of the next shift.
  • Quality Handoff: Prepares concise status reporting (counts, adjustments, inventory levels, escalation points) for the ICDS Manager and Analyst, detailing cycle count completion, variance tallies, and flagging any systemic or procedural issues encountered.
  • Training & Coaching: Conducts on-the-spot training for team members on new SOPs and best practices, focusing on the quality of work.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of direct supervisory experience in a warehouse environment. Proven experience managing labor in a measurable, safety-focused environment.
  • Technical Skills: Must be highly proficient in WMS systems and possess strong knowledge of safety protocols (OSHA, equipment certification). Experience in Finale, ShipStation and ShopWorks a plus
  • Traits: Strong leader, highly disciplined, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and absolute commitment to safety.
