Cloud Software Engineer

We're looking for a senior-level Cloud Software Engineer to help design, build, and optimize advanced Big Data cloud systems that directly support mission-critical operations. In this role, you'll work with cutting-edge cloud platforms, distributed computing frameworks, and high-performance data solutions-while collaborating with a skilled team of engineers and mission partners.
What You'll Do
- Develop and enhance complex cloud-based data systems.
- Lead and contribute across the full development lifecycle-from design to deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve challenging technical issues in cloud and distributed systems.
- Shape architecture decisions and identify new tools/capabilities.
- Work hands-on with AWS, Azure, Hadoop, containerization, and DevOps tools.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on cloud and distributed systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience may substitute).
- Expertise with Big Data frameworks (Hadoop, MapReduce, HDFS, HBase).
- Strong Java development and scripting (Python, Bash, Ruby).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Ability to design, manage, and secure multi-node cloud environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative mindset.
Bonus Skills: Elastic Stack, NiFi, Ansible, Agile/Scrum, and SIGINT experience.
