Job Description:
GIS Automation Products Group is hiring an application engineer to support product development, customer deployment, and services for client SmartFactory and SmartFactory Rx automation products and solutions in the areas of manufacturing execution, factory performance, equipment performance, and advanced process control. Additionally, candidates will drive continuous improvement, help improve knowledge base management, and seek opportunities to build organizational efficiencies using technology, Al, machine leaming, automation, and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working proficiency using visual studio, C#, Net, databases and use of SQL? as mandatory Familiar with SECS/GEM protocol and SEMI automation standards
- Experience working in semiconductor or Solar or Display or PCB manufacturing as equipment automation developer is required.
- Experience working with other factory automation and business systems such as MES, Recipe Management (RMS), and Advanced Process Control (APC)
- Implement Equipment Automation (EA) solution, integrated with other key factory and business systems, for our customers Work with product development team to develop new solutions and products with to address market demands Coordinate with customer's systems administration and IT teams on deploying, configuring, developing and deploying EA solutions.
- Present technical information to customers including technical contributors and managers.
- Create, evolve and implement EA application training and/or demonstrations Project management tasks in accordance with APG standard PM lifecycle Perform software installations at customer locations
- Knowledge base contribution/management
- Respond to customer requests for proposal (RFP) and requirements collection Develop and deliver statements of work (SOW) and cost estimates for projects
- Improve operations through continuous improvement standards such as: 8D, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5-Whys.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in semiconductor or Solar or Display or PCB manufacturing as equipment automation developer is required
