Biotechnology Sales Representative

Inizio Engage is excited to partner with a leading Biotechnology company, focusing on Commercial, Patient Solutions, and Medical Affairs initiatives.
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Biotechnology Sales Representative who excels in strategic problem-solving and collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Ideal candidates will possess sales experience in pediatrics or a related field.
The Biotechnology Sales Representative will be expected to maintain a deep understanding of disease states and product information. Your primary focus will be engaging with Pediatric and Generalist healthcare providers in institutional and office settings.
Your role will involve educating healthcare providers about disease states and product offerings, as well as ensuring that the office can connect patients with the appropriate Account Manager through opt-ins. This position plays a vital role in the collective efforts of our field sales team.

Your Responsibilities:
Achieve territory results measured by referrals and new prescriptions.
Drive demand through clinical selling and education to Generalists, focusing on patient identification.
Profile accounts regularly to ensure correct targets are being approached effectively.
Validate healthcare providers' eligibility for child patients in need of therapy.
Contribute to account feedback and market intelligence for team success.
Seamlessly integrate within key markets to maximize outreach and impact.
Track and report activities using CRM systems.
Deliver approved educational messaging where appropriate.
Raise product awareness among targeted healthcare providers.
Assist clients in understanding referral processes.
Educate referring healthcare providers on disease states and product details.
Ensure patient connections with the Account Manager through effective communication.
Maintain accountability for individual performance metrics.
Regular cold calling on targeted healthcare providers is a necessary aspect of the role.
What You Bring:
2-4 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably with a focus on primary care.
Experience in pediatrics or related fields is strongly preferred.
Background in B2B sales with a desire to transition into pharmaceuticals (experience in device or diagnostics is relevant).
Experience in cold calling within healthcare settings.
Office-based selling experience in complex referral models.
Experience working collaboratively in field team environments alongside Account Managers.
