Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures and perform x-rays following established protocols.
  • Develop and process images for the Radiologist's interpretation.
  • Administer contrast media and medications in compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure proper image transfer to the PACS system, maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and sterile environment between patients.
  • Adhere to radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications Required:

  • Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiographic Technology program.
  • Must hold ARRT registration or be registry-eligible (registration required within one year).
  • 24 continuing education credits must be obtained bi-annually in compliance with ARRT.
  • BCLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
