Position Overview:

Responsible for the delivery of patient care by applying skills and techniques common to the practice of vocational nursing. The Licensed Practical Nurse functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs tasks related to patient care.

  • -Position Status: PRN
  • -Work Schedule: Nights

Education Qualifications:

  • Required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Practical Nursing

Certification Qualifications:

  • Required: License to practice in the State of Illinois
  • Required: Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
  • Required: Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training course (CPI) required within 1 month of hire date

Experience Qualifications:

  • Previous experience preferred
  • New Graduates welcome
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team and excellent communication skills required.
  • Requires physical stamina and emotional stability

Pay Range:

  • The pay range for this position is $23.80 - 35.70 per hour.
