The Maintenance Utility Engineer position is responsible for minor heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical repairs. This role will also provide assistance to our skilled trades teams, as required.
Essential Responsibilities:

Maintains lighting systems in the museum and all satellite buildings, grounds and offices, including inventory and installation of specialty lamps and bulbs.

Schedules and performs preventive maintenance programs for heating and cooling motors, including lubrication, filters and belts.

Assists in keeping down time to a minimum by isolating problems and repairing and/or notifying responsible individual(s).

Performs other activities as necessary.

Contributes to the effective team management of all problems, issues and opportunities.

Acts as a team player and provides expertise within the team and with other teams as appropriate.
Your Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 or more years in the construction industry or related field
- Knowledge of blueprint reading
- Experience with hand and power tools
Position will include frequent exposure to extremes of weather and environmental conditions.
