Snapshot / Role Overview

We're seeking a Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician in Dallas Metro to maintain critical building systems and deliver expert repairs for commercial facilities.

Impact

• Maintain HVAC systems for office buildings, hospitals, and industrial facilities across Dallas Metro

• Prevent costly downtime through proactive maintenance and rapid emergency response

• Drive customer satisfaction through reliable service and technical expertise

• Support energy efficiency initiatives that reduce client operating costs by 15-25%

• Mentor junior technicians and lead complex troubleshooting projects

Responsibilities

• Service and repair commercial HVAC equipment including RTUs, chillers, and boilers

• Perform preventive maintenance on large-scale mechanical systems

• Troubleshoot complex control systems and building automation interfaces

• Respond to emergency service calls during peak summer and winter demand

• Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings to customers

• Coordinate with facility managers on scheduled maintenance activities

• Lead system commissioning and start-up procedures for new installations

• Train junior staff on advanced diagnostic techniques and safety protocols

Requirements

*Must-Haves:*

• 7+ years commercial HVAC service experience

• EPA Universal certification for refrigerant handling

• Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting skills

• Valid Texas driver's license with clean record

• Experience with commercial chillers and large tonnage equipment

• OSHA 10 certification preferred

*Nice-to-Haves:*

• Building automation systems experience (Tridium, Johnson Controls)

• Journeyman HVAC license or equivalent

• Experience with energy management systems

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
