Job Summary:
The Admin Support Clerk III plays a key role in supporting financial accuracy and compliance across Client's regulated and non-regulated entities. This role ensures the precise and timely processing of Annual Compensation payouts and validates tax accuracy to maintain adherence to internal controls, IRS requirements, and state taxation regulations. You will also perform critical year-end activities to ensure W-2 data accuracy before final distribution and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Tax & Compensation Validations
  • Conduct detailed tax validations for various compensation payouts, including:
    • Short-Term Incentive (STI) Payouts: Ensuring accurate withholding and reporting for performance-based annual bonuses.
    • Client Executive Life Insurance Premium (VELIP) Imputed Income: Validating taxable income calculations tied to executive life insurance premiums.
    • Corporate Profit Sharing (CPS) Distributions: Confirming tax accuracy for non-qualified deferred compensation distributions.
    • Cash Settled Stock Together Payouts (STP): Performing extensive validations on income resulting from equity compensation vesting or disposition, ensuring compliance with complex tax rules, income calculations, and taxation timing.
Form W-2 Responsibilities
  • Support W-2 validation processes for both test and production cycles, ensuring compliance with federal and state reporting requirements.


Required Education
  • Bachelor's Degree (Mandatory)


Must-Have Skills (Top Requirements)
  • 3+ years of experience with multi-state and local tax administration
  • Hands-on experience with state and local jurisdictions for tax account updates
  • Proficiency in 3rd-party tax tools, such as Client or CIC+
  • Experience with HRMS and payroll systems, preferably PeopleSoft and/or Workday
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.)


Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes and payroll tax integration
  • Strong customer service skills (verbal and written)
  • Solid organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Flexibility to meet critical processing timelines
  • Strong sense of urgency and results-driven mindset
  • CPP or FPC certification (preferred)
