What You Should Know About the Financial Analyst:

  • Monday- Friday: Typical Hours- 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • This position is based within Jefferson Regional Decision Support Department
Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst works within a team to deliver high quality business and strategy recommendations to meet the organization's needs. This position will support the budget & forecast processes, cost accounting functions, new project assessment, and financial analysis of the business. Source data from various systems and create insightful information to support recommendations to leadership. This is a key position in the organization and will be looked upon to be both a "go to data source", as well as have a unique understanding of the business from a financial perspective.

Financial Analyst Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum requirements:
    • Demonstrated understanding of basic database structure design
    • Demonstrated proof of accuracy and timeliness in work assignments
    • Experience in decision support, financial planning & analysis, or cost accounting
  • Preferred requirements:
    • Experience with EPSi or Strata preferred.
    • Experience with SQL, PowerBl, and Tableau a plus
    • Experience as an advanced excel user
