Position Description

Job Summary:

•Operate and maintain loaders

•Responsible for the efficient working conditions of the loaders

•This includes: performing routine maintenance including minor servicing, maintenance, and cleaning of the loader

•Responsible for alerting the supervisor of any significant problems

•Maintain hopper levels to achieve maximum production

•Maintain stockpiles and pit floor

•Load trucks

•Assist with maintenance around the asphalt plant

•Check fuel supplies at sites to ensure adequate availability

•Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met

•Keep records of material or equipment usage or problems encountered

• Must have the initiative, ability, and willingness to perform and assist with other job positions for job completion as requested

Position Requirements

Working Conditions:

  • Must travel from site to site.
  • Exposure to Dust
  • Loud Noises
  • Work in inclement weather conditions.
Physical Condition:
  • Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities such as: heavy lifting and climbing, operating motorized equipment and vehicles, work in confined spaces, work at heights, work around heavy construction equipment.
