Description
Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is seeking a Salesforce Software Developer to join our Cloud Service Integration Team (CSIT) in support of Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives. This role focuses on building custom features and integrations for multiple mission-critical systems.
Job Duties:
- Designing, developing, and implementing custom Salesforce features and integrations
- Developing secure, scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in compliance with DoD standards and security protocols
- Being willing to collaborate with analysts, architects, and security personnel to ensure alignment with system requirements and compliance standards

Requirements- This job requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and eight years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs in building scalable and maintainable solutions
- Experience with unit testing, code coverage, and deployment strategies using tools like Change Sets, Ant, or CI/CD pipelines
- Experience maintaining high standards of code quality, documentation, and performance in secure cloud environments
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices and DoD cybersecurity requirements
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience with Software Development Life-cycle, Source Control Management Systems (i.e., Atlassian Suite)
- Familiarity with Salesforce CLI, Scratch Orgs, and source-driven development workflows
- Experience communicating technical solutions to both technical and non-technical clientele
- Background in traditional Software Development or Web Development outside of the Salesforce platform (Relevant degree or work experience)
- Experience working on DoD or federal government projects
- Understanding of integration patterns and experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or ETL tools
- Knowledge of Salesforce security models, including profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchies
- Ability to work closely with analysts, architects, and security teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Previous experience with KPIs, reports, and analytics
- Strong documentation skills for technical designs, user guides, and system artifacts
- Salesforce Platform Developer II, App Builder, or Integration Architecture Designer (preferred)
- Commitment to staying current with Salesforce platform updates and best practices
- Previous experience with integrating solutions into preexisting systems
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
