 About you:

  • You love to learn and want to master neurological anatomy and functions.

  • Your patient restraint skills are top notch, and you want to learn how and why neurologic patients require specific restraint/ patient skills.

  • You're keen attention to details helps you recognize changes in patient attitude, abnormal behavior, and changes in condition.

  • You work well independently and as a part of a close- knit team.

  • You pride yourself on your written and verbal communication skills.

  • You enjoy client education including intake and discharge instructions.

  • You adapt to the individual needs of each patient and are not afraid to ask questions.

  • You maintain your calm in stressful situations and maintain a positive attitude.

  • EzyVet and SmartFlow experience is a plus

Compensation & Benefits (full- time employees):

  • Commensurate with relevant experience. $20- 24/hr.

Schedule:

  • 4/10 hour shifts per week

  • Monday - Friday

  • 8am - 6pm

  Qualifications:

  • At least two years of veterinary experience as a VA.

  • Practiced in the skill of advanced patient handling and restraint.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Unparalleled patient care and customer service.

  • Flexibility and adaptability.

  • Work well as part of a team.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and have original, unexpired documents to verify eligibility. 

  • Must be able to pass a 7-year background check and drug test (complying with local, state and Federal guidelines).

  • Have a valid high school diploma or GED
