Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble vehicles for accurate damage assessments to create a thorough repair plan with Collision Estimators.
  • Identify all necessary repairs to reduce additional costs and repair time.
  • Follow work orders diligently and execute work procedures effectively.
  • Remove necessary interiors and components to access damaged areas carefully, ensuring parts are stored safely.
  • Mend damaged bodywork using hammers and fillers, and weld broken parts to meet industry standards; reinstall panels after painting.
  • Utilize a range of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare repaired surfaces for painting by sanding, filing, and grinding.
  • Replace or repair defective components as required.
  • Inspect and test drive vehicles post-repair to verify compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Perform related duties as assigned and adhere to all company procedures and safety guidelines.

Your Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • I-CAR or ASE certifications are a plus.
  • 2-3 years of experience in collision repair is preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License is required.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to collaborate in a team setting.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding written instructions and material.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

The role involves regular use of hands and communication. Physical requirements may include standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities including close, peripheral vision, and adjustment of focus are essential. The ability to assess work accuracy and thoroughness is vital.
