Baptist Urgent Care is seeking dedicated ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technicians to join our expanding team.

JOB SUMMARY:
This role involves conducting x-ray tests, utilizing your expertise in anatomy and physiology while ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and prepare necessary supplies for procedures. Additionally, you will assist with medical assistant duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities outline the expectations of this position but are not exhaustive. Other tasks may be assigned.

  • Warmly greet patients in waiting areas, exam rooms, and x-ray rooms.
  • Maintain clear communication with patients regarding wait times and guide them through the treatment process.
  • Identify patient issues and offer timely solutions, seeking assistance during emergencies.
  • Conduct follow-up calls with urgency to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Assist front desk staff with check-in and check-out procedures when needed.
  • Accurately document patient vital signs, medical history, current medications, and allergies.
  • Support patient transfers and assist in procedures under provider supervision.
  • Complete all required documentation related to patient visits efficiently.
  • Ensure timely execution of radiology procedures for physician evaluation and treatment.
  • Perform quality control checks to maintain high standards in all exams.
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures while adhering to safety and regulatory protocols, including radiation protection techniques.
  • Regularly check equipment functionality and report any issues to management.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development to enhance diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain current licensure and certification for radiology equipment used in the facility.

WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE?
Full-time team members work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled as needed.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification
• AR State X-Ray License
• ARRT Certification preferred
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred

Our centers are open seven days a week: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Also, all Baptist Urgent Care centers are Accredited Care Centers, ensuring our commitment to safety and quality services.
