School Behavior Technician for '25-'26 School Year

Expectations:

  • Must be able to build rapport with students and staff, as well as remain flexible and professional at all times

  • Provide instructional and behavioral support as needed to the teacher and classroom staff

  • Have a strong foundational knowledge of ABA principles (e.g., identifying functions of behavior, implementing preventative strategies, prompting functional communication)

  • Be familiar with common data collection methods (e.g., frequency, duration)

  • Be able to quickly review a student's IEP or BIP for further guidance on individualized behavior management strategies and goals

  • Utilize visual supports without being explicitly told (e.g., visual schedule, token board)

  • Duties may include assisting students with toileting, bathroom routines, diaper/brief changing

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years (preferred) as a Behavioral Technician/Therapist/Interventionist

  • 2+ years of ABA experience (preferred)

  • Experience working with a range of behaviors (e.g. mild/moderate, moderate/severe)

  • Minimum education requirement is a HS diploma

NOTE:? You must be open to filling in before being placed on an ongoing assignment, which is a great way to showcase your consistency and reliability An ongoing assignment is typically Monday-Friday and ranges ~30-35 hours per week. The starting pay rate ~22+ per hour (dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience).
