About Baptist Urgent Care:
At Urgent Team, our walk-in centers offer a wide range of healthcare services, treating injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. Our centers operate seven days a week: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. We are proud to be an Accredited Care Center, recognized for our commitment to safety, quality, and comprehensive services. With over 80 locations under eight brands, we provide quality and affordable family healthcare.

Job Summary:
We seek a dedicated and compassionate Radiology Technologist to perform x-ray procedures with precision and care. You will operate diagnostic equipment, prepare examination rooms, and develop x-ray films, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
The following duties represent the key expectations for this role:

  • Greet patients promptly and guide them through their visit.
  • Communicate wait times and next steps in the treatment process effectively.
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures as needed.
  • Document patient vitals and medical history accurately.
  • Prepare and assist patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for physician evaluation.
  • Maintain diagnostic imaging equipment and report malfunctions.
  • Stay updated with industry knowledge and maintain necessary licensure and certifications.

What’s Required?

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BLS Certification
  • State X-Ray License
  • ARRT Certification preferred
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
