Boulo is partnering with a Commercial Real Estate firm in Birmingham, AL looking to hire an Investment Analyst to join their team. Reporting to the Director, Acquisitions. The Investment Analyst is a member of the investment team and is responsible for assisting in sourcing investment properties and assisting Investment Team members. The Analyst will assist in tracking, analyzing, underwriting, and closing investment opportunities as well as coordinate property transitions. If you are a recent grad in finance, economics, accounting or statistics, with up to 3 years experience we would love to talk to you
Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Underwrite investment opportunities and perform market research, as directed
by the Director, Acquisitions
• Maintain and administer detailed files and folders on each prospective, pending
and closed acquisitions
• Assist in the acquisition and due diligence process including but not limited to
market analysis, lease abstracting, 3rd party reports, financial analysis and
developing property business plans
• Develop and maintain financial models for potential acquisitions (Argus, VAL,
and MS Excel)
• Assist in developing Investment Committee, property transition, fundraising, and
financing packages
• Track demographic and commercial real estate market trends in targeted geographies
• Assist with property transitions
• Provide administrative support for broker relationship management and
business development, including attending industry events, conferences, and
trades shows
• Directly support all members of the investment team
• Additional items as directed by Executive Vice President, President, or Partners
