Metro is looking for a motivated and passionate Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our expanding Homecare team in Nassau County Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative environment
Job Type: Per Diem
Pay: $65-$80 per visit
Locations: In and around West Hempstead
Schedule: Flexible
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide 1:1 treatment
- Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of occupational treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.
- Custom Splint Fabrication for Patients
- Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
- Develop and guide plans of care which encourage compliance and produce the best results for your patients.
- Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
- Must be willing to treat all ages and have sensory integration experience

- Occupational Therapist Program Graduate.
- NY Occupational Therapy License or eligible.
- Ability to travel to and from the homes of your patients throughout your given territory.
- Strong communication skills between patients, support staff, and management, including timely responses via text, email, phone, etc.
Salary Description
$65-$80 per visit
