Position: DataBricks Engineer

Location: Culver City, CA

Need senior 5+ Year resource involving designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and solutions on the Databricks platform. This includes working with data sources, transforming data, building data models, and ensuring data quality and security. Key Responsibilities: Data Pipeline Engineering: Designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable data pipelines using Databricks, including data extraction, transformation, and loading .Data Transformation and Modeling: Using Python and Spark to transform data, build data models (data lakes, data warehouses), and ensure data quality. ETL Development: Building and optimizing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Databricks and other Azure services .Data Security and Compliance: Implementing data security and compliance best practices .Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitoring data pipeline performance and conducting necessary maintenance and updates. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Databricks Expertise: Strong understanding of Databricks architecture, features, and best practices .Data Engineering: Experience in data warehousing, data lakes, and data analytics tools.
