The role involves driving innovation in automotive ADAS/AD product design, transitioning them from concept to production, and ensuring optimal performance through comprehensive system analyses. Ideal candidates are tenacious, quick learners, able to navigate fast-paced environments, and excel in multi-tasking. Key Responsibilities: Design and validate robust module mounts for interior/exterior ADAS sensors. Lead kinematic mechanisms design and shock/vibration stabilization structures. Execute comprehensive tolerance stack-up analysis ensuring system compatibility and manufacturability. Conduct optical performance simulations using SPEOS and manage thermal/structural validations. Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams and suppliers to optimize ADAS sensor packaging and performance. Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in 3D CAD software, specifically CATIA. In-depth experience with ASME GD&T principles and tolerance analysis. Familiarity with CAE tools, plastic molding processes, and thermal analysis. Industry Experience: At least 5 years of experience in automotive ADAS/AD product design and implementation, with a strong track record of innovative, space-efficient mechanical designs.
