We're hiring a Mechanic who takes complete ownership of our shop and fleet - someone who approaches every repair, inspection, and detail with pride and accountability. You'll help protect the PSC standard by keeping our fleet reliable, clean, and ready, returning equipment to the field looking and running like new so our crews can work productively and with pride.
What You'll Do
- Perform detailed inspections and preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and technology-driven shop environment.
- Communicate proactively with field teams to plan work and minimize downtime.
- Use digital tools (like WorkMax and other systems) to track work efficiently.
- 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment, diesel, fleet maintenance or related - especially with excavators, trucks, trailers, and hydraulic systems - or related experience.
- Pride in craftsmanship, curiosity to find root causes, and a drive for quality and efficiency.
- Comfortable using technology to stay organized and improve results.
- CDL preferred.
- Trade or technical school training a plus.
