Manager Income Tax

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Manager Income Tax to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $109,850 to $137,315 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage tax audits and examinations by tax authorities.
- Lead and mentor the tax team, providing guidance and support.
- Provide tax support for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 5+ years of corporate and partnership income tax experience in public accounting and/or a multinational corporate tax department.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience managing direct reports .
- Proficiency knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), Adobe Acrobat and accounting software's.
- Experience in managing tax audits and dealing with tax authorities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing tax team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
