We're a 24-hour emergency hospital providing urgent and critical care to the greater Long Beach community. Located just over a mile from the beach, our hospital offers a supportive, fast-paced environment where collaboration and clinical excellence go hand-in-hand.
Your Role: Emergency Veterinarian
As an Emergency Veterinarian at Long Beach Animal Emergency, you'll join a team of dedicated professionals passionate about providing top-tier medical care with compassion and respect.
You'll collaborate with skilled technicians and experienced veterinarians who value teamwork and integrity. Thrive's connected hospital network means you'll also have access to specialists and clinical mentors who support your growth, well-being, and professional aspirations.
We're looking for doctors who thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment - where open communication, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care define every shift.
Compensation
We offer a competitive, no-negative-accrual PROSAL model that rewards both your time and your talent.
Annual range: $180,000-$230,000 base (dependent on experience, shift mix, and location).
Additional compensation opportunities available through production and shift differentials.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent
- Active California Veterinary License (or eligibility prior to start)
- Active DEA license or eligibility
