Job Description:
IRG Clients is seeking an Intermediate Project Support Specialist to support the agency's Modernization Project. The selected candidate will play a key role in assisting internal staff and external partners-including hospitals, funeral homes, coroners' offices, hospices, and nursing homes-with the transition to and use of a new vital records database management system. This position is critical to ensuring the system's successful adoption and advancing the agency's data modernization and interoperability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the new vital records database management system.
- Provide responsive support for incoming calls, emails, and online assistance requests from system users.
- Deliver training and ongoing support to external partners on how to effectively use the vital records system.
- Provide technical and functional support to agency staff in relation to modernization and interoperability efforts.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of improved business processes for data management and data exchange with state and federal agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to support both internal and external users in adopting and utilizing database systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teams focused on data collection, management, and modernization.
- Experience working on data or IT-related projects within government or public health entities.
- Familiarity or prior experience with Vital Records systems or services.
