Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Kansas City or St. Louis, MO
Salary: $68k - $160k + up to 30% annual bonus

Our client is a well-established MEP consulting firm with a 50-year track record supporting a diverse range of facility-based projects in aviation, healthcare, housing, and municipal sectors. Due to growth, they are seeking experienced electrical engineering talent to join their teams in Kansas City and St. Louis.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead electrical design projects from initial concept through final construction

  • Conduct site visits and participate in client meetings

  • Sign/seal electrical drawings and ensure compliance with applicable codes

  • Coordinate with mechanical engineering and CAD teams

  • Design and layout power distribution systems from the transformer into the facility

  • Mentor junior staff and maintain clear communication with clients

  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and quality standards across projects
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

  • PE license or active pursuit of licensure (required for final sign-off)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities-based or MEP electrical engineering

  • Background in building power systems preferred

  • CAD and/or Revit experience is a plus

  • Strong leadership and accountability

  • Project management experience a bonus

  • Local candidates preferred; relocation considered for strong Midwest-based talent
