A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for On -Device AI-ML Engineer.
Position type: Contract
Duration: 18 Months
Location: Charlotte, NC/Plano, TX/SFO (Hybrid)
As a On -Device AI-ML Engineer, you will:
Job Description :
We are looking for an AI-ML Engineer who can build and optimize AI models that run directly on mobile devices (iOS or Android). The main goal is to make AI features work offline - without needing internet - by fitting and running the AI models inside the phone efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Train and fine-tune AI/ML models.
• Make large AI models smaller and faster so they can run on a mobile device.
• Deploy AI models to run offline on smartphones.
• Improve speed, accuracy, and battery performance of on-device AI.
• Work closely with mobile engineers to integrate the models (mobile development experience is NOT required).

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AI/ML.
• Experience running AI/ML models inside phones or edge devices.
• Knowledge of model optimization techniques (making models smaller, faster, more efficient).
• Experience with any of the following tools/frameworks is a plus but not required:
  TensorFlow Lite, CoreML, ONNX, PyTorch Mobile.

Nice to Have

• Experience fine-tuning LLMs.
• Understanding quantization, pruning, or model compression.
• Experience with AI running offline or on low-resource hardware.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:Pay Range*: $65/hr - $75/hr on W2.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
