This practice is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care throughout the reproductive journey - from preconception and pregnancy through postpartum and beyond. With a track record of fewer C-sections and higher VBAC success rates, they are setting a new standard in maternity care by prioritizing better outcomes, informed choices, and deeply personalized support.

We're currently seeking a full-time Laborist to join this collaborative team in New York City. You'll work alongside experienced midwives, care navigators, and OB/GYNs in a model built on respect, empathy, and trauma-informed care.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide direct OB/GYN care across both outpatient and hospital-based settings
  • Collaborate closely with our midwifery team, guiding care for patients under a shared OB/midwife model
  • Perform outpatient minor procedures and operative consults, including C-sections as needed
  • Provide supervision and clinical oversight to midwives, nurses, and medical assistants
  • Serve as a clinical leader and advocate for our collaborative care model - including future expansion into birth center settings
  • Help shape protocols and participate in quality initiatives with the Medical Director
What We're Looking For:
  • MD or DO, board-certified/board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Passion for patient-centered, trauma-informed care
  • Experience working in collaboration with midwives (preferred but not required for new grads)
  • Excellent clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to equity in care
  • Experience with telehealth and virtual care is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base salary range: $285,000 - $310,000
  • Full-time, benefits-eligible position
