Stamford Health is seeking a full-time B/C OB/GYN Associate Director for an exciting new practice "Oula provided by Stamford Health" -a first-of-its-kind midwifery-integrated OB/GYN practice in Connecticut. The ideal candidate is dynamic leader able to lead a collaborative team of certified nurse-midwives in a model that values partnership, respect, and innovation. Position Highlights:
  • 50% inpatient / 50% outpatient
  • 2 laborist shifts/week + 1-1.5 days outpatient + 1 admin day
  • Supervise and collaborate with midwives
  • OB/GYN hospitalist call (1 weekend/month)
  • Teach OB/GYN residents -we are a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons
Qualifications:
  • Board-certified in OB/GYN
  • 4+ years of attending experience
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Experience with midwifery models a must
