As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, your role will be pivotal in providing care to a diverse range of patients with various mental health challenges. We prioritize your focus on delivering exceptional care by providing robust organizational support for clinical and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply evidence-based screening tools and diagnostic criteria to create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Conduct individualized and group therapy sessions utilizing multiple therapeutic modalities tailored to patient needs.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications following established protocols; monitor medication efficacy and side effects while adjusting treatment for optimal outcomes.
• Accurately document clinical findings in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Qualifications Required:

• Active and unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of practice.
• Board certified as a PMHNP-BC by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or eligible for certification.
• Active DEA registration.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing in an outpatient setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in educating patients about medication adherence and aftercare services.
• Proven ability in using advanced psychotherapeutic techniques, in both individual and group settings.
• Experience treating substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions.
• Ability to work with patients across various age groups, including older adults.
• Experience in couples or family counseling.
• Proficient in using technological tools for professional communication and medical documentation, including EHR systems.

Salary for this role typically ranges from $104,500 to $156,000, and total cash compensation may vary based on factors like location, education, and experience. We adhere to minimum wage laws and offer a wide array of benefits including a comprehensive package, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401(k) contributions, subject to eligibility requirements.
