  • Manage resources and operations for perioperative departments on a 24-hour basis.
  • Ensure efficient use of staffing, equipment, and supplies.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Handle budget planning, monitoring, and expense control.
  • Implement and monitor quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety and service excellence.
Candidate requirements A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required, with a preference for a Master's in Nursing, Business, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in perioperative services is required, with 3-5 years of management experience preferred. A current Texas RN license is required, and a specialty or administration certification is preferred. Must have active BLS certification upon hire (ARC or AHA), with AHA BLS required within 60 days.
