Infectious Disease Physician with Competitive Starting Salary

Job Duties:
- Diagnose and manage a variety of infectious diseases across all organ systems, including conditions that require selective antibiotic use.
- Conduct thorough patient interviews to gather comprehensive information, including symptoms and medical histories.
- Perform and interpret necessary diagnostic tests.
- Design and implement tailored treatment plans for injuries and illnesses; prescribe or administer medications as needed.
- Document and maintain patient records that detail histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Care for patients with conditions such as AIDS, unexplained fevers, and those needing preventive medicine or travel-related health expertise.
Work Schedule & Environment:
- Primarily inpatient care with 1-2 clinical days per week.
- Work is typically performed in a clinical and office environment.
Position Details:
Qualifications:
- Board certified or board eligible in Infectious Disease.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of residency and fellowship in Infectious Disease.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license.
- Preferred experience in managing complex infectious disease cases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
