As a GI Nurse Pratitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you'll provde compassionate, high-quality care to adult patients in tandem with a GI physician. In this highly collaborative fast-paced role you will assess, manage and collaboratively treat patients at our outpatient facility located at 2421 Silver Strean Lane, in Wilmington, NC. Hours are 800a-500p, 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
-Provide comprehensive, patient-focused care to individuals and families
-Perform assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
-Educate patients on preventive care, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices
-Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated care
-Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records following compliance standards
-Participate in quality improvement initiatives and protocol development
Candidate Qualifications
- Current NP or PA certification and active North Carolina license (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical assessment skills and commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong interest in the treatment and care of patients with Gastroenterology issues
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and flexible in scheduling
