We're seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering -a hands-on technology leader who thrives on solving complex challenges in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and highly available services . In this role, you'll lead talented teams to design, build, and operate mission-critical solutions within a Managed Services environment , managing workloads that healthcare providers depend on every day.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Manager of Software Engineering who thrives at the intersection of technology, leadership, and innovation . In this role, you'll bring your expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud technologies to lead engineering teams building and operating mission-critical healthcare solutions. You won't just manage tasks-you'll set strategy, guide execution, and inspire teams to deliver world-class, reliable, and scalable products.

Set Vision & Strategy - Define technology roadmaps, influence key decision points, and drive operational excellence across large-scale, highly available systems.

Lead High-Impact Teams - Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing engineers while cultivating a collaborative, customer-obsessed culture.

Operate at Scale - Oversee 24/7 operations for systems that handle massive data workloads, ensuring performance, security, and resilience.

Drive Innovation - Partner with cross-functional teams (Ops, Support, Product, Engineering) to design solutions, automate workflows, and deliver customer-centric innovation safely.

Make an Impact - Develop frameworks, tools, and dashboards that empower teams and transform how healthcare is delivered through technology.

What You'll Bring

10+ years developing software, including 5+ years managing high-performing engineering teams.

Proven success leading complex, large-scale, distributed systems in mission-critical environments.

Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, databases, NoSQL systems, and cloud infrastructure .

Experience with big data applications, analytics, and multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure .

Strong technical presence-comfortable presenting forward-looking strategies to executives and aligning diverse stakeholders.

A can-do leader who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and drives continuous improvement with measurable results.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $112,400 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
