Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and administrative support in line with company policies.
  • Monitor x-ray orders for timely completion and submission.
  • Assist patients with proper positioning to ensure diagnostic quality.
  • Review and label x-ray images correctly for initial and final reads.
  • Perform minor maintenance on imaging equipment and report issues promptly.
  • Maintain hygiene in the x-ray room and manage the condition of equipment.
  • Collect and record vital signs and pertinent clinical histories.
  • Welcome new team members and facilitate their orientation.
  • Support training and mentoring of new employees.
  • Maintain positive relationships with patients and coworkers to ensure a harmonious work environment.
  • Adhere to compliance and safety standards, including wearing radiation monitors.

Experience Requirements:

  • Valid ARRT License and state license if applicable.
  • Active TB and IV Certification within 60 days of employment.
  • Experience levels range from 1 to over 7 years, depending on certification and scope.

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.

License Requirements: Limited Scope X-Ray Technologist License, ARRT Certification, and compliance with state regulations.
