Senior Financial Analyst

Position Summary:
The National Association of REALTORS® is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team, reporting to the VP of Financial Planning and Analysis. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving the financial performance of the organization by implementing best practices for reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Forecasting
- Lead the development of annual budgets and forecasts. Collaborate with various departments to gather inputs and ensure alignment with strategic plan.
- Prepare and present management reports for leadership on a monthly basis.
- Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast and prior year. Identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Identify trends, variances and key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Assist in the build-out of the NetSuite Planning and Budgeting tool.
- Train users on the tool.
- Continuously improve budgeting / forecast processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices in FP&A.
- Serve as a finance partner to various teams, providing insights and recommendations.
- Help implement a culture of financial accountability and transparency.
- Bachelor's degrees in Finance or Accounting.
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A or Corporate Finance.
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
- Experience with NetSuite Planning and Budgeting is a plus.
- Knowledge of data tools like Power BI and Tableau is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive mindset.
- Demonstrated self initiative, critical thinking, and ability to drive project independently.
- Proven communication and outreach skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Compensation: $105,000-$120,000
NAR provides comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision insurance.
NAR is on a hybrid schedule with 3 days a week in the office.
