Get ready to roll up your sleeves and jump into an exciting opportunity with our leading Manufacturing Company We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our 1st shift team. This is a permanent full-time position where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of high-tech machinery and equipment, applying your technical skills and knowledge to solve complex problems and maintain our high standards of production. Responsibilities:

1. Performing routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment.
2. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with various machinery and equipment.
3. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
4. Complying with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
5. Assisting in the development and implementation of machine maintenance plans.
6. Documenting all performed work and the conditions found; utilizing maintenance computer software as necessary.
7. Assisting in the training of other mechanics and operators to perform preventative maintenance and urgent repairs.
8. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have the following:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
3. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
4. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
7. High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage.
