Urology Physician Job Details

• Job Title: Locum Tenens Urology Physician
• Location: Peoria, IL 61637 (Illinois healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Dates: October 16, 2025 - January 15, 2026
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Clinic or Operating Room)
• Call Coverage: 24-hour weekend call and after-hours call during the week (ER and hospital call)
• Patient Volume: 18-22 adult patients per day in clinic
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Patient Population: Adults only (no pediatric urology cases)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $10,500-$11,250 per week

Urology Physician Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology (Urology jobs in Illinois)
• MD or DO degree required
• Active Illinois medical license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) in hand
• Minimum 1 year of post-residency clinical experience in urology
• Ability to provide consistent weekday coverage for multiple weeks

Urology Physician Responsibilities

• Deliver ambulatory clinic support, seeing 18-22 adult patients daily
• Perform in-office cystoscopy and standard urology procedures in the OR
• Provide hospital call coverage, including 24-hour and emergent care as scheduled
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of urologists and healthcare professionals
• Maintain effective communication with hospital staff and referring providers
