Hospice Volunteer Internship for Healthcare Students in Oklahoma City, OK

Are you a healthcare student looking for meaningful, hands-on experience in patient care? Join Bristol Hospice as a Volunteer Intern and make a lasting difference in the lives of our patient and their families while gaining valuable exposure to the healthcare field. This is an UNPAID internship opportunity.
Opportunities Include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assisting with light activities such as reading, music, or conversation
- Supporting families and caregivers
- Gaining insight into interdisciplinary teamwork (nursing, social work, chaplaincy, volunteer services, and more)

Requirements:
- Compassion, reliability, and a willingness to serve
- Completion of hospice volunteer training and onboarding requirements (provided by Bristol Hospice)
- Commitment to a minimum of 2 hours per week; or have a flexible schedule
