Position: Night Certified Central Processing Technician - Central Sterile Supply
We are looking for a dedicated Central Processing Technician to manually clean and reprocess scopes efficiently and safely. You will follow established policies and procedures under the guidance of your department supervisor. Your role will focus on the cleaning, sterilization, and assembly of vital equipment, supplies, and instruments, all essential for maintaining patient safety in a high-volume medical environment.
This is a full-time night position working from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including rotating weekends and alternating holidays. You will be based at NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Central Sterile Processing Department (CSPD)
- Familiarity with medical scopes
- CER Certification
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)

Please keep in mind that this position requires on-site presence. Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not cover travel expenses.
