Role Overview

The Seasonal Inventory Control Specialist plays a critical role in assisting the Receiving and Inventory Control Specialist (RICS) to maintain effective inventory management in our stores. You will be responsible for ensuring that our merchandise is consistently available on the sales floor, providing customers with an exceptional shopping experience, and supporting our sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture lasting relationships with customers through exceptional service and selling techniques.
  • Accurately process all incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Verify that all merchandise deliveries meet our high company standards for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare merchandise for the sales floor, ensuring adherence to ticketing and signage protocols.
  • Apply EAS tags to merchandise in compliance with Loss Prevention guidelines.
  • Timely and accurately input freight information into the appropriate systems.
  • Efficiently handle RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets, and markdowns in alignment with company policies.
  • Maintain a productive work pace by achieving units per hour (UPH) targets.
  • Keep the stock room organized and compliant with all company and state regulations.
  • Follow all local, federal, and state laws, along with company policies and practices.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Exhibit professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with customers, colleagues, partners, and vendors.
