Job Summary
As an Accountant, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and dealership transactions. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a high-performance, fast-paced retail environment, with exposure to luxury vehicle sales, service, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily financial transactions, including sales reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and dealership accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with internal policies and industry regulations.
- Prepare reports for management, including sales performance, cash flow, and expense tracking.
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the sales and service departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support system updates or implementations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (or dealership systems like Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Passion for the automotive industry and an interest in luxury brands is advantageous.
