Minneapolis, MN | Direct Hire | $100K–$140K + Bonus & Profit Sharing | Hybrid

Are you a seasoned estimator ready to step into a team leadership role? We’re partnering with an industry-leading fabricator known for delivering successful, fast-track projects across North America. This is an opportunity to lead a group of estimators, own proposal quality, and drive growth on some of the most ambitious structural steel jobs in the country including aviation, healthcare, sports + recreation, and datacenters.

This role is ideal for someone who’s ready to transition from hands-on estimating to a leadership-focused position - while keeping a pulse on technical strategy and proposal execution.

Senior Estimator Responsibilities

  • Lead and schedule a team of estimators; provide mentorship and development support
  • Review and approve estimates and proposals, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Assign subject matter “champion” roles to team members for specific projects or disciplines
  • Assist with schedules, pricing strategies, and proposal narratives as needed
  • Serve as sales lead or client point of contact on key pursuits
  • Take responsibility for final estimates sent within defined approval thresholds

Senior Estimator Qualifications

  • 5+ years of structural steel estimating experience; leadership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, detailing, erection, and project workflows
  • Prior experience reviewing and finalizing technical proposals and pricing
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Project management experience in structural steel is a plus
