Associate Director, Insights

The Opportunity

At Praxis, we’re seeking a motivated and resourceful individual to join our team as the Associate Director of Insights & Analytics. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic and operational decisions across our portfolio. As a key member of the commercial team, you will focus on hands-on execution, ensuring that our decisions are consistently supported by thorough analysis and solid evidence. Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize and implement BI&A research that supports our business goals.
• Oversee research projects from conception to completion, including study design, vendor management, analysis, and generating insights.
• Monitor competitors, products, and technological advancements; identify emerging trends and their strategic implications.
• Translate intricate findings into clear, actionable insights and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
• Maintain current competitive landscapes while analyzing competitors, products, and technology platforms.
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision making.

Qualifications and Key Success Factors

• 7+ years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or strategy, particularly in the biopharmaceutical/oncology field.
• Proven expertise in designing, managing, and interpreting both primary and secondary research studies, with hands-on experience creating surveys and discussion guides.
• Exceptional analytical skills, adept at distilling complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Experience managing external vendors and leading cross-functional projects effectively.
• Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities; capable of translating complex data into straightforward recommendations for senior leadership.
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced biotech environment characterized by cross-functional ambiguity.
• A self-starter who thrives in a rapidly evolving, start-up culture.
• Able to find a way forward in uncertain situations and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as necessary.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $195,000 USD, commensurate with your job level, education, and experience.
