Are you a versatile healthcare professional ready to make a real difference? Our Federally Qualified Health Center is seeking an exceptional dual-credentialed X-Ray Technologist and Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic, patient-centered care team.

Certified Medical Assistants at Affinity Health Center work at the top of their certification, providing point of care testing, preparing, and administering vaccines and in-clinic medications, performing screening tests, and assisting with procedures. Certified Medical Assistants support efficient and high-quality care with robust check-ins and patient screening, collaborating with the care team and building patient relationships.

What You'll Do

Radiologic Technology Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures with precision and patient-centered care
  • Ensure radiation safety protocols and equipment maintenance
  • Collaborate with providers on follow-up
Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Enhanced patient rooming with comprehensive preventive service screening
  • Visit assistance and warm hand-offs to providers
  • Documentation support and after-visit summary preparation
Required Qualifications
  • Current certification/licensure as Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Licensure from South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
  • Current certification as Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA or CCMA)
  • BLS certification
  • Bilingual skills highly valued (we serve diverse communities)

Pay Range: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience.

Position Requirements

Certified Medical Assistant through one of these institutions- Required
  • CMA from the Certification Alliance of Health Care Professionals
  • RMA from the American Medical Technologists
  • NCMA from the National Healthcare Association
  • CCMA from the National Healthcareer Association

Certification with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Required

Licensure from South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) - Required
