Banking Operations Leader

Work model:

  • On-Site
  • Monday - Friday, rotating Saturdays
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Pay starting at $50,000 per year, increasing based on years of experience
What you will do:
  • Oversee daily branch operations to ensure smooth teller and banker functions aligned with policy standards
  • Coach, mentor, and inspire retail banking staff to reach performance targets
  • Train new team members on systems, procedures, and exceptional customer service
  • Act as a subject matter expert on banking products and services, supporting account openings, loan applications, and inquiries
  • Drive cross-selling and customer loyalty through deep product knowledge
  • Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory guidelines
  • Evaluate branch workflows and recommend enhancements for efficiency and service quality
  • Partner with departments such as lending, compliance, and operations for seamless collaboration
  • Lead team meetings and support the local rollout of bank-wide initiative
What you will need to be successful:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in retail banking
  • At least 1 year in a leadership or senior teller position
  • Strong knowledge of banking products and branch operations
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example in a fast-paced setting
  • Proficient with banking software and customer relationship management tools
